The Madonna and sister Mary Faustina Kowalska

Sister Faustina was from Cracow and is considered "The Apostle of Divine Mercy. Here are the promises made by Jesus to Sister Faustina according to what is taken from the book:"Diary of sister Faustina Kowalska " by the congregation of the sisters of the Blessed Vergin of Mercy( translation form the Polish language).

" The soul who will venerate this image, won't perish, I promise victory over his enemies, still on this earth but especially at the very moment of his passing away. I, the Lord will protect this soul as I protect my glory! I will take care, as a mother guards her child, the souls who will spread the cult to my Mercy: for all their life then at the hour of their death. I won't be their Judge but their Saviour…"
"Humanity won't find peace till it turns trust fully to my Mercy "Tell the suffering people to take shelter in my lenient heart and I will overwhelm them with peace". But the Madonna too spoke many times to sister Faustina…"I know, now much you suffer, but don't be afraid, I share and I will always share in your pains" " My beloved daugther, I want you to pray, to pray and pray once more for the world and for your contry especially.

Receive the restoring communion for nine days, strictly join the sacrifice of the Holy Mass. During these nine days you will stand in the presence of God as a victim, every where, continually, in any place and at any time day and night; every time you wake up,pray in your inner heart. To pray perpetually and deeply is possible" "I am not only the Queen of Heaven, but also the Mother of Mercy your Mother too".
"I am your Mother for the infinite Mercy of God.The soul I hold most dear is the soul who more faithfully accompliches God's will" "Be brave, don't fear misleading obstacles, but carefully contemplate My Son's Passion and thisway you will win".
On the day of the renewal of her religious vows on touching her with her hands and covering her with her mantle she told her:"Offer these vows for Poland. Pray for it" "you grant me great joy when you worchip The Trinity for the graces and privileges it has bestowed me". "Your life must be like my life: silent and concealed ; you must be unremittingly close to God and pray for the mankind and prepare the world for the second coming of God".

"Oh how dear is to Good the soul which faitfully follows the inspiration of his grace! I have given the world the Savior and you must tell the world how gratly merciful he is and you must prepare it for his second coming. He won't come as for bearing Saviour but as a Good Judge. Oh! That day will be awful! The day of justice, the day of Go's wrath before which the angels tremble has been decided. Speak to the souls of this mighty compassion, as far as the time of the pity lasts. If you now are silent, that dreadful day you will have to be responsible for many souls. Don't 'be afraid of anything: be true up to the end.
I keeps company with you giving you my tenderness" One morning during the Mass:"See how confidently I entrust Jesus to his hands so you too have to entrust your soul and be like a little girl before him".

In preparation of Christmas festivity (1936) "My dear daugther , try to be nicek and humble so that Jesus who always dwells in your can rest.Worship him in your heart don't leave your inner meditation. My daugther for you I will obtein the grace to this Kind of niward life sothat, without neglecting your spirituality you can externally accomplish all your duties with greather accuracy. Perpetually keep with him in your heart.He will be your strength. With the human creatures be on such terms as requirement and your obligation demand. You are a pleasant abode of the Living God, a place where he continually lives in love and gratification, and the real presence of God you feel in a more vivid and manifest way will confirm you, my Dauther ,in what I told you. Strive to behave like this up to Christmas Day and later on the will make you understand how you have to deal with and how to join him":

"Don't forget, My daughter, that even if I have been raised to the dignity of Mother of God, seven painful swords have pierced my heart. Don't do arryting to protect you; bear everyting with humility. God himself will defend you" Pointing at the Christ Child , during Midnight Mass she said these words toher:"My beloved daughter Faustina take this very precious thesaure". Here is the novena to the Divine Mercy wich starts on Good Friday and ends on Low Sunday and wich Jesus cares so much about…

FIRST DAY:"TODAY bring me all maukin and in particular all the sinners and plunge them in the sea of my mercy. And in this way you will soothe the sore sadness the loss of souls throws me "

SECOND DAY:"TODAY bring me the souls of the clergymen and the souls of the religious and immerse them in my unfathomable mercy. They have given me the strenght to overcome the bitter Passion. Through them like through waterways my pity descends on humanity"

THIRD DAY: "TODAY bring me all the pious and faithful souls and dip them in the sea of my compassion. These souls have comforted me on my way to Calvary, they have been a drop of consolation in a sea of bitterness"

FOURTH DAY:" TODAY bring me the pagans and the ones who don't know me yet. Of them too I thought in my painful Passion and their future zeal has consoled My Heart . Dip them in the sea of My Mercy."

FIFTH DAY: TODAY bring me the haretics' and schismatics' souls and immerse them in the sea of my Mercy. In my stinding Passion they have torn my flesh and heart, that is , My Church. When they will turn back to the unity of the Church , my wounds will be healed and this way they assuage my Passion".

SIXTH DAY:"TODAY bring me the meek and humble souls and the souls of the children too and plunge them in my Mercy. These souls are most likely my heart. They have supported me in the bitter anguish of my agony. I foresaw they were the angels of the earth who would guard my altars. On them I pour my favours in floods. Only a humble soul can accept my grace: to the submissive souls I bestow my complete confidence."

SEVENTH DAY:"TODAY bring me the souls who especially venerate and magnify my Mercy. These souls have mostly suffered for my Passion and have more deeply toched my Spirit. They are a living reflection of my compassionate heart . These souls will shine with an extraordinary brightness in their future life. None of them will drop in the eternal fires. I will defend each of them especially at the hour of their death."

EIGHT DAY:" TODAY bring me the souls who are in the prison of Purgatory and plunge them in the abyss of my mercy. The torrents of my blood relieve my burning thurst! All these souls are very much loved by Me; now they are satisfyng my justice: you have the pawer to give them comfort. Take from the treasure of my Church all the possible indulgences and offer them to the souls… Oh, if you knew their agonies , you would continually give the alms of the spirit for them and would pay their obligations on account of my justice":

NINTH DAY: "TODAY bring me the feeble souls and dip them in the abyss of My Mercy. These souls hurt my heart most painfully. My spirit in the Garden of olives felt the greatest repugnance for a tepid soul. Because of them I said:"Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass me by. For them to appeal to my mercy is their last chance of salvation"

On Sister Faustina's diary we read that Jesus attaches great importance to praying his Mercy… Mary, the Vergin Mother of the Saviour went on conversing with Faustina:"Oh ! How much I welcome the gift of your love" "Anyone of you who persists in her zeal in my congregation up to her death will avoid the fires of Purgatory and desire each of you to be distinguished because of these virtues: Humility and gentleness, purity and love for God and your fellow creatures compassion and mercy". "My beloved Daughter I strongly urge you to fulfil all the wiches of God because this is what he likes seeing. I gratly want you to be conspicuous for this I mean for this loyalty, by accomplishing God's will.
Place God's will before any sacrifice or holocaust". " My daughter , thrugh God's influence I have to be your Mother in an exclusive and extraordinary way but I also want you to be my Daughetr in a special way. I desire you , my dearest daughter, to practise three virtues which are the closest to me and by god most appreciated. The first is humbleness, humbleness and humility once more. The second virtue is pureness: The third virtue is lave for God : As my daughter you have to shine remarkably with these good qualities.
"I am the Madonna of the priest"
"Oh God, bless Poland, bless the clergimen" then by turning to Sister Faustina she again said. Tell the priest what you have seen. "The true greatness of the soul consists in loving God and being humble in his presence, in neglecting oneself totally, in giving no importance to oneself because God is almighty but he is only delighted by the humble while he always offers resistance against the proud.
